Kosie Okafor.

Kosie Okafor is a self-taught Nigerian-American artist born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Although he was an avid sketch artist and painter in his early childhood, he hadn’t found his current passion until November of 2009 when a small college art project gained much attention. Kosie’s works involve bold statements inspired by culture, politics, and social media. Kosie enjoys involving his clients in the creative process to help create the perfect piece that can grow with them throughout time. The majority of his work focuses on portrait paintings but he does not limit himself to this genre, as can be seen in his current Africa Ankara print collection.
